The mission of Ventura County Adult Day Health Care is to promote enjoyable group experiences in order to maintain participants’ independence, and also to provide respite for family members and caregivers. Our services aim to prevent unnecessary institutionalization for community members who have disabilities or mental illnesses.
Ventura County Adult Day Health Care is a community-based program providing a variety of medical, therapeutic, rehabilitative, and recreational programs and services for adults 18 years and older. We provide a safe and secure environment for our participants to spend time under the supervision of caring and experienced staff.
We welcome adults of all ages, genders, sexual orientation, race/ethnicities, religion, and abilities.
At VCADHC, we treat and monitor a vast array of physical and mental health diagnoses including, but not limited to:
- Diabetes (Type I/II)
- Cancer
- Developmental Disability
- Intellectual Disability
- Dementia/Alzheimer’s Disease
- Psychiatric Diagnosis
- Anxiety
- Depression
- Traumatic Brain Injury
- Heart Attack/Stroke Survivors
