Dementia Program

Finding Your Way

A Dementia Program

Mission: To provide individualized treatment to participants exhibiting symptoms of dementia, focusing on caregiver education and person-centered planning.

At Ventura County Adult Day Health Care our goal is to give individuals a sense of fulfillment by providing cognitively stimulating activities that are familiar and can be accomplished. Like Montessori-style education, we provide different options and encourage participants to make the decision they are most comfortable with. Cognitively impaired adults need to feel self-worth, have a sense of belonging and consistency. At VCADHC we can accomplish this goal by providing a calm, comfortable, and secure environment. VCADHC’s knowledgeable staff focus on all aspects of a person including their physical, emotional, social, as well as spiritual well-being.
